910 Main Street

Great Barrington, MA

Purchased in 2018, 910 Main Street will be developed for 40 affordable and 9 market-rate rental units, with all units being “Net Zero ready” energy efficient and made from green building materials. CDCSB is partnering on the project with Way Finders, Inc. of Springfield, a large nonprofit housing agency and developer with many projects throughout western Massachusetts. Two acres of the 9-acre site will be developed, with the remaining land placed in permanent conservation. The site is on public transportation and is within walking distance to the downtown business district, grocery stores, major employers, medical and veterinary offices, and cultural and recreational amenities.
