Arbinger Institute’s Outward Mindset is a course that invites people to reconsider how they work with others and the impact they have through noticing, developing and consciously choosing how they see challenges, opportunities, situations and people and the impact they have and want to have.

Often we go into a situation or conversation with someone focusing on what we need to achieve, and expect shared results. By shifting how we engage with others, how we see them, and work in a way to achieve both our results and help them with theirs, we achieve collectively higher results, and better relationships. Our work becomes easier because we have a foundation from which to engage in a way that invites others to interact with us collaboratively.

The course is in two parts. This offering is for Part 1.

Facilitation of the learning is punctuated by videos, individual and group exercises, one-on-one sharing, and application of the tools to on-the-job situations facing the participants.
