Sawmill Brook

Sawmill Brook

Lenox MA

Sawmill Brook was originally developed in partnership with the Town of Lenox as an affordable home-ownership project. As state-controlled funding for home-ownership projects is not available, the project is not moving forward as originally conceived. The CDC has worked with the Town of Lenox since 2007 and is in the process of exploring other options for affordable housing development. The location is optimal for affordable housing as it will create housing near the center of town, the schools, and on public transportation routes.
